about

Comfortably is a song of pure hatred and revenge. Specifically about confronting your abuser as an adult, calling him out. I've stored this hatred since I was 6 years old and I honestly don't feel this person deserves to live. The remorseless are not salvageable human beings. Living through those 6 years of my life are without a doubt the number one reason for my depression, anxiety, lack of confidence and self loathing. Fortunately for me, I've made strides in those departments, but there are still times as a grown man where I will feel like a scared 6 year old kid in confrontational situations. It's a long road back from being made to feel worthless for the majority of your youth. My childhood was stolen from me so I am living my youth now. I kill that son of a bitch a little every time I sing this song. - R. Johnson

lyrics

Comfortably
- R. Johnson/L. Coulstring/S. McKenzie

Thief
You'll always be some kind of disease
For what you've done to me
Greed
Cut me off at the knees consistently
While you live comfortably

Just give me a direction
And I'll come for you
An overdue connection
Repugnantly re-renewed
Just give me a direction
And I'll come for you
One disturbing recollection
Violently used

I find it hard to believe
You've no memory
Buried deep inside of me
I only wanna cut you all the way out

Thief
You'll always be some kind of disease
For what you've done to me
Greed
Cut me off at the knees consistently
While you live comfortably

Just give me a reason
And I'll come for you
Poetic in completion
Hatefully overdue
Just give me a reason
And I'll come for you
Just one motherfucking reason
Violently used

I find it hard to believe
You've no memory
Buried deep inside of me
I only wanna cut you all the way out

Thief
You'll always be some kind of disease
For what you've done to me
Greed
Cut me off at the knees consistently
While you live comfortably

This blood spills and you never mattered
This blood spills, but why won't you DIE!
